Apply multi-course discounts to new invoices
Bill qualifying courses together and check automatic, promo and manual adjustments.
- 1
Build the invoice with participants
Open Money → Invoices, then + New invoice. Select the client and add each program as a catalog line with its participant. Use + Add line for another course or person. Assign participants before judging eligibility: counting uses distinct program–participant pairs, not the number of invoice lines. Products and memberships do not count toward a tier.
- 2
Review automatic and manual discounts
Qualifying active rules apply automatically. Review Multi-course discount and the total. If you choose a Promo code, the rule’s combination setting decides whether both apply or the better discount wins per course. Manual price adjustment applies after automatic discounts to the remaining balance; do not enter the automatic savings again as a manual adjustment. Recheck taxes and the amount due.
- 3
Check assistant-created invoices too
When asking the assistant to create an invoice, identify the client, courses and participants clearly. Its invoice calculation uses the same active multi-course rules. Review the proposed discount and total before confirming creation or sending. If eligibility looks wrong, correct the participants or course selection rather than duplicating the discount manually. You can first ask for a read-only invoice estimate: it explains eligibility and creates no invoice or enrollment. See the assistant workflow.
- 4
Verify the saved invoice
Follow Create and send an invoice to save or send it, then review the recorded discounts and balance on the invoice. Later promotion changes do not recalculate this invoice. For a cancellation or refund, use its saved line amounts and the credit-note workflow; discounts on the other already-billed courses are not retroactively removed.
