Save a client card with their consent
Use a secure Stripe setup page in person or share a link without taking a payment.
- 1
Open the client’s saved cards
With payment-management access, open the correct client under Clients, find their saved cards and click Add a card. Connect Stripe in Settings first if the page requests it. Check the client’s identity and obtain the cardholder’s consent.
- 2
Choose how the client will enter the card
Choose With the client present to open the secure form, Email a secure link to send it to the address shown, or Create a secure link and copy it for the intended client. The cardholder enters their card on Stripe. This setup saves a payment method; it takes no payment.
- 3
Verify the saved card
After the cardholder completes the form, return to the client and use Refresh saved cards. Check the displayed brand, last digits and expiry. An unfinished form is not a saved card. If setup is unavailable, review the Stripe connection and the permissions requested on the settings page.
