How Example Club’s registration portal handles your information.
Page-view analytics
To understand which pages are useful and improve the portal, we record basic, first-party analytics as you browse this site. No third parties are involved.
What we record
- The pages you visit and how long you stay on each
- A random visitor id stored in your browser, so repeat visits can be grouped
- Your account id — only when you are signed in
What we never record
- Your IP address
- Your name or other personal details in the analytics
- Advertising or cross-site trackers
This data is first-party — it stays with Example Club and is used only in aggregate, to produce the organization’s own reports. It is kept for up to 12 months and then automatically deleted, and can be removed sooner on request.
Your choices
- Opt out of analytics: use the “Do not track me” link in the footer of any page. It turns page-view tracking off in your current browser, and you can turn it back on the same way.
- Access, correct or delete your data: contact Example Club at info@exampleclub.ca and they will help.
Registration & account information
When you create an account, register a participant or make a payment, Example Club collects the details you provide (such as participant and contact information) to deliver its programs and process your registration. For questions about how that information is used, please contact the organization at info@exampleclub.ca.
